Jake Stein is a rebellious cynic when he enters his freshman year at the George Washington University in 1984, but soon changes as he befriends an unusual ensemble of drunks, womanizers, and other misfits. After he is initiated into a colorful fraternity—one that is consumed by debauchery and eccentricity, he finds himself quickly growing into an entirely different man than the one he aspired to be. Colin Cohen's House of Kidz is an allegory of the 1980s, with all its excess, amorality, and unadulterated good times; it is a tribute to the fraternity experience and a testament to the bold but ephemeral nature of youth.
