There have been hundreds of sightings and six unsolved, ritualistic murders - all within the Little Park area. The police department relies upon the assistance of its own Detective Marcel Brown and the "gem" of a neighboring police department, Aya Becker. Although the citizens fear that their town is being stalked by the Jersey Devil, Aya and Marcel realize that the murderer(s) are faking the sightings to aide their cause. A lethal cause which Aya soon learns involves her in a way she never thought possible...
Opinión de publisher :
Callaway's graphic descriptions of ritualistic murders will appeal to hard core horror fans, but his philosophical observations are what really sets this novel apart. The opening pages invite the reader to embark on a journey to explore the nature of good and evil. A rocky relationship between detectives Aya Becker and Marcel Brown adds further depth and dimension. Callaway presents his characters with insurmountable obstacles that go far beyond the challenges presented in many horror books and films. Like a hurricane or volcano eruption, the mysterious evil entity at work in Six Faces holds the power to wipe an entire town off the map. --Bethany Vale, author of Vengeful Tendencies "If you can put this book down before you finish with the Prologue, then you aren't a true Horror aficionado. Mr. Callaway hooks you immediately in the first few sentences and keeps you impaled on those hooks until the very end. You can't turn away from the horrors that he presents to you and you never feel as if you even want to. You're helplessly pulled along and you wouldn't have it any other way. This is a read-it-with-every-light-on-in-the-house book. I look forward to more from him. He has been added to my list of favorite horror authors. " - Lo "Six Faces is the kind of novel that you simply cannot read once and set up on a shelf. You find yourself going back to it to reread favorite sections over and over. The novel isn't strictly a horror story. Ryan Callaway skillfully combines every genre of novel into his masterpiece. His scenes are so graphic and (some so) heartrending that I actually found myself in tears. Ryan Callaway has a unique talent that he artfully displays in Six Faces. One thing about his novel-there is never a dull moment from cover to cover. Six Faces is only the beginning of a long list of masterpieces. "
