Nigel and Mike, the books two leading characters, leave England in an old VW camper van for a summer of camping in France. They scrape hearts and knees as they flirt with females and males alike at the many campsites they pass through.

The author handles the homoerotic tension between our two heroes with sensitivity and humour culminating in an erotic but amusing scene by a lake! The young men try to decide on their future [will it be together or with someone else] until one day they encounter a group of nudists that has a life changing effect on them both.

This is a lively and engaging novel that anyone who has gone though puberty and beyond can relate to. Certainly unputdownable!
