Hi all...

Yeah, so everything was working great on my 8900....too great perhaps, judging by how I spent more time reading then using the phone for phone purposes.

Then I had to go and upgrade to the 5.0.0.314 OS beta release.

Now I can't reload the mobireader software on my phone...and I'm getting upset. All I get is an error message telling me that the software is not compatible with my device. Does this have to do with how the software is compiled? Help!

If anyone has any ideas, bienvenidas será!

Also, if there is another beta version out there that hasn't been released, and the Devs are interested in testing in in the 5.0 environment, I would be more than willing to play guinea pig.

I am not sure but you may want to revert back to previous software. I am assuming that you mean the Blackberry desktop software, right? If so you can get previous versions at blackberry here. https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

I don't know if this will help but it may be worth a try. Other than that you may want to start over with your original disk.

I have a Storm so its only a guess. The 8900 is a Curve, correct?

I'm referring to the version of the Blackberry OS on my device, not the desktop software. I have heard of other users using the same version of OS without problems, so I was curious about their experiences.
