Thanks Fabien, looking forward to it.
Just as an aside I should add my support for incorporating page changes with the volume keys.
My previous smartphone was an imate SP3i and I broke the joystick scrolling through books, after only three months. Those phones had a problem with the joystick, but I am sure it broke more quickly because of the pressure of making 13000 page changes for your average book (the autoscroll isn't always appropriate).
I would have continued to use the phone if there was an alternate way to page, because my main use of the phone was to read books (I rarely buy paperback if there is an option for a mobipocket format ebook.
The point is, you can't have too many ways to change pages.

Hi Fabien,
I have to say it is now working fine on my E61. Raising the heap size was such a great idea - using the volume keys for scrolling would be awesome either.
One further addition, not only concerning the 3rd edition port: if you could regulate the speed of the autoscrolling I will make use of it.

Hi dachfein,
Are you aware you can speed up and slow down the autoscroll by using joystick up and down?

Thank you for sending the beta, fabien,
itīs a great piece of software. My only complaints are as already mentioned before:
- too big icon on the active standby screen,
- would be nice to have the volume keys for page up and down.
Otherwise everything is working like a charm

I PM'd my information as well. I have Nokia E70 and I think it would be beneficial to see how this works on it as well. I am very eager to test this, so I'm hoping to get it soon

Fantastic, my Nokia E61 eBook reader is now complete
I have been using it since yesterday and have no issues to add. Icon is not scaling in the active standby screen, but that is it.
My one complaint (which carries over from previous versions for symbian phones) is that there appears to be no way to jump to a page. Bit of a pain in some limited cases where I have been reading the same book on my laptop, but this situation rarely occurs.
Thanks for including me.

Hi Fabien,
Just send you a pm. I have a nokia E60 (which is great!)
Hope you received it, is IMEI the only thing you need or should I also include my email adress?
Thanks in advance,
John

Thanks Fabien,
Installed from my powerbook via bluetooth works a charm. eReader have just lost themselves a customer!! The interface looks great on the N80, nice clear type, and I love the fact that you can read landscape. Had to create the eBook folder manually on the memory card, but thats a no-brainer really. Works a treat with the book I just bought. Will be reporting back after my next commute to let you know of any problems.
Well done

Hello all,
the good news is that the Mobipocket Reader for Series 60 3rd edition is now Symbian Signed and available for everyone:
http://69.0.238.8/soft/reader5/mobireader.series60.3.sis
Integration with the Reader Desktop is not released yet, this will come in a few days. In the meantime, to read your purchased eBooks, you need to add the PID of your phone manually in your online account and redownload the eBooks.
This officially closes this beta program. Thank you very much all of you for testing and giving your feedback!
The release cycle of the Mobipocket Reader is very different for Symbian 9 versions (Series 60 3rd edition and UIQ 3) from what it is on other platforms. Since the application always needs to be signed, releases will be less frequent and therefore need to be more tested and stable. There will be more betas for Series 60 3rd edition, I'll be in touch with you when that happens.
Thanks again,
Fabien
